Deformation properties of high-strength structural bainite H-75 steel
In this paper the deformation properties of high-strength weldable structural bainite H-75 steel are presented in dependance on the conditions of thermomechanical treatment. The subject of observation was low carbon (C<0.10%), low alloyed with Mn, Cr, Ni and Mo, and Nb-microalloyed steel. Mechanical and technological properties after thermomechanical treatment and air-cooling are as follows: ReH>600a MPa, Rm>750MPa, A5>16%, Z>50% and KCV(-40C, longitudinaly)>40J/cm2. The thermomechanical treatment was carried out a torsion plastometer and by rollingon a two-high rolling mill. It is conclusded that microstructural changes and precipitation by temperature below 1000C, can influence the steel deformation properties to alarge extent. the final microstructural conditions (fine grained microstructure and precipitates) ensure high mechanical and technological properties of the examined steel.
