Kinematic efficiency of the starting shot performed by the best Croatian golf player

The comparison between the starting shot of the subject of this study and the theoretical model showed certain differences in several analyzed parameters. The differences are following: - The rotation of the hips was not completed at the backswing. - During the downswing the right foot heel is lifted along with the left foot heel (lifting to the toes), what consequently influences the stability of the whole body while performing the critical part of the swing – the ball impact. - Substantial lateral movements of the body weight regarding the swing direction. - The angle of the front leg is too open in the final part of the downswing. - The body weight is mainly on the back foot at the moment of impact. The noted technique errors definitely influence the performance efficiency of this extremely important stroke, therefore the subject of this study is strongly advised to correct them.
