Dynamic Simulation of Transport Aircraft Landing Impact

In the paper, dynamical model of an aircraft that allows for dynamical simulation of a transport aircraft landing impact is presented. Model is shaped as a non-linear multibody system and includes aircraft aerodynamic loads, discontinuous dynamics of a landing gear shock absorber as well as an aircraft tire contact dynamics. Because of its great influence on an aircraft ground dynamical behaviour, the dynamical model of the main landing gear shock absorber is in the focus of the paper. Based on the developed model, a touchdown impact of the landing transport aircraft for different flight-landing parameters is simulated and analysed.
