Capabilities of ICT in Knowledge Transfer

The monitoring of an individual's work and of his/her active participation in the fulfillment of education process objectives within large groups demands either enormous amount of time and effort of an individual monitor, or engagement of substantial number of monitors. Information & communication technology and adequate organization of the educational process creates context for the individual work with a student, but also for monitoring of his/her work and the results. These activities can partly be realized through the use of computers, and partly through direct individual contact between teachers and students. The paper describes a model of implementation of information-communication technology that enables monitoring of individual work and the dynamics of the learning process. For this to be applicable, it is necessary to change the methods of presentation of the educational contents, as well as to change the educational process.
