Influence of Physicochemical and Structural Properties of Aluminosilicate Gel Precursors on the Kinetics of Crystallization Zeolites A and X
Kinetics of crystallization of zeolites A and X from amorphous aluminosilicate gel precursors, formed in the presence of alkali cations (Na+, Li+ Na+, Na+ K+, K+) were studied by different methods such as x-ray diffractometry, scanning-ellectron microscopy, measuring the size of the largest particles in crystalline end products and measuring of silicon and aluminum concentrations in the liquid phase. Experimental results were analyzed and discussed in the terms of physico-chemical and structural properties of the gel precursors and influence of cations on the physicochemical and structural properties of the precursors.
