Spatial Data Infrastructure = Infrastruktura prostornih podataka

The paper presents the emergence, state, contents and meaning of one new term which is spatial data infrastructure. Results of a questionnaire are given in this research. Finally, the development of spatial data infrastructure in USA and Europe is briefly described.
