Study of gender and respiratory findings in workers occupationally exposed to organic aerosols
Exposure to organic dust may be associated with an increased frequency of respiratory abnormalities. The data sow that women in some industries had less loss in FEF25 across shift than did men. We conclude that gender differences in lung function in the studied industries do not suggest that women are at increased risk of lung function loss compared to men.
