Influence of Lithium Doping on Structural and Electrical Properties of Fe2O3 Thin-Films on Glass Substrate
Thin-films containing nanosized grains of iron oxide (Fe2O3) are widely used in research into mainly magnetic and electronic devices. Their capacity for intercalating Li+ ions are important at construction of galvanic cells of second generation. Films of iron oxide derived by chemical vapour deposition (CVD) route were investigated by Raman spectroscopy in order to determine grain sizes. Electrical properties of Fe2O3 films, samples were characterised by impedance spectroscopy (IS) and thermally stimulated currents (TSC). Complex admittance was measured between 1Hz and 1 MHz. Measurements were performed on films of Fe2O3, Fe2O3 with 1% of Li and Fe2O3 with 10% Li. TSC was measured between 80 K and 350 K. We have found the dependence of structural and electrical properties upon percent of Li added in matrix of this metal-oxide film.
