The Influence of Aerosol Particles on Reduction of Use of Telescope
Aerosols in the atmosphere have direct and indirect effects on the optical propagation. The direct effect is related to their optical propertis. Indeed, aerosols act to scatter and/or absorb solar and terrestrial radiation. The level of scattering and absorbtion depends on their physical and chemical characteristics and concentrations of aerosol particies. This paper elaborate son the influence of the aerosols in the atmospheric MTF and so on the qality of the image of an optic system. This paper makes a contribution to the segment that the influence of aerosols is not negligible, that is that the change of resolution of the telescope-atmosphere system is taking place in relation to urban, rural and maritime environments.
