Explosion-Based Welding
Number of researches in the field of creating new technologies with impulse tension, have shown that explosion energy can be used in the following processes: processing by deformation (tin-sheet shaping) making holes, volume shaping, clinching, calibrating, surface hardening, sintering, under pressure casting, cleaning the castings, mounting, etc. It is possible to produce every amount of energy by detonation needed for certain shaping process. However, it is problematic to control explosion in order to produce wanted effect, so that the rest of the energy, not needed for the process, is destroyed without affecting the working object. More will be told in this study on using the explosion energy in the process of explosion-based welding, which is technically simple and economically very rational. Well-conducted process results in firm connection of good quality with relatively high technical-economical parameters. Usually, the metals of the same group are being connected because they fit the best to the determined conditions
