Location and distribution problem data acquisition
Finding optimal solutions in heuristic problems is based on intuitive and empirical rules that intelligently move one solution point to another, according to the model criterion. It is well known that each heuristic problem is specific and optimal solution achievement is treated independently from the very beginning. In this paper we propose the original idea of common input data acquisition for more than one heuristic problem (location and distribution problems). We describe the software developed for common database creation, according to specific problems, that deals with similar planar area (geographic map) at the beginning. Our idea and our contribution are based on work concerning different heuristic problems where all the efforts are motivated with possible time, resource and money savings.
