Dust obscuration events of the symbiotic nova RR Tel in the near IR

We have studied the dust obscuration events of the symbiotic nova RR Tel, based on ground-based infrared photometry performed in South Africa. The effect of the Mira component pulsations was approximately corrected for. We have compared the behaviour of these events in different wavelength bands ; it is clearly different in L than in other bands. We shall propose interpretations of our results.
