Clustering Analysis of Human Gait Data
In this paper a technique for automatic classification of the kinematics data collected during gait has been developed. Data is obtained from the measured trails carried out on the group of 18 persons (free walking). For the data classification, cluster method is used. According to the clustering results, gait quality is classified into three classes: high quality gait, normal gait and low quality gait. After that, the measurements on another 6 individuals, walking on treadmill, were done with intention to investigate the differences between free walk and treadmill walk. Gait data results are compared and presented for 5 gait phases.
