Loss of heterozygosity of Adenomatous polyposis coli and E-cadherin genes in renal cell carcinoma
In our study the roles of two tumor suppressor genes were investigated in renal cell carcinoma. Our results suggest that alterations both in APC and E-cadherin genes are responsible for ebolution and progression of RCC. Genetic changes of the E-cadherin gene are less frequent and are associated with the APC gene alterations.
