RENEWABLE BIOMASS ENERGY IN THE LIGHT OF THE MALTHUS LAW
In comparison to the exhaustible fossil fuels, the future role of renewable biomass becomes more and more significant. As a contrast to this, according to the Malthus law, grow of population is much faster than grow of the agricultural resources. Therefore, usable biomass energy should be comparatively decreasing. The Malthus ratio between growth in agriculture and exponential growth of population would rapidly decrease. Consequently, the energy meaning of biomass would be progressively smaller in the prospective future. Nevertheless, both contradictory possibilities have not been properly investigated till now.
