Numerical Analysis of Structures under Moving Load
This paper describes analysis of a practical problem: displacement of SKL rail fastening assembly under moving load. The problem is described through hyperbolic partial differential equation with nonlinear stiffness coefficients and nonconservative loading while mass and damping coefficients do not vary with time. Numerical analysis with a novel integration scheme called Impulse Acceleration Method has been adopted as a solution tool and numerical examples demonstrate the performance of the method.
