Rift related ore deposits within Zagorje-Mid-Transdanubian zone
SIDERITE DEPOSITS (Rude, Rudnica): Ore forming fluid is seawater, evolved during evaporitization proceses and reactions with hostrocks. Mixing of hydrothermal fluid with unefected seawater or fresh water. Major source of sulphate sulfur is permian seawater sulphate. Sulfide sulfur were produced during proceses of thermic reduction of seawater sulphate. MVT deposits (Sv. Jakob, Ivanščica):Ore paragenesis is simple, Pb-Zn, epigenetic in character, Cu-sulfides are absent. Hostrocks of the mineralization are carbonates. Fluids are uniformn, low temperature. Influence of evaporitized seawater and dolomitization procesesis sre significant. Sulfur source is biological.Sulfides did not precipitated under equilibrium conditions.Deposit is similar to Mississippy-valley type deposits with in Triassic carbonates (ŠINKOVEC et al., 1988).
