Computer Literacy as a method of treatment in children with cerebral paralyse

Computer literacy programme for children and young people with cerebral palsy came about as result of co-operation of staff members of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Home for children and young people with cerebral palsy from Pula, and thei long-term work in that field. Using a special education analysis the programme was divided in two subgroups. The first subgroup comprised users who showed significant psychomotor and perception deficiences, but whose cognitive and attention abbilities were limited. The second subgroup comprised users who showed significant psyhomotor and perception deficiences but also limiting cognitive and attention deficiences. They were directed to use software that gave them opportunity to rehabilitate themselves and to enter the world of computer games and Internet.
