Experimental cholestasis increases cytotoxicity in tumor cell lines
Mice were subjected to common bile duct ligation and cytotoxic activities of intrahepatic and splenic mononuclear lymphatic cells were tested against YAC-1 (NK sensitive) and P815 (LAK) sensitive tumor cell lines. The data showed that cholestasis might increase the proportion of NKT cells in the liver and the cytotoxic potential of both tested effectors.
