Laboratory model for simulation of vehicle traction system load

The simulation of the vehicle's traction system load is an important part in the research of vehicle's drives (electrical, hybrid or internal combustion) as well as optimization of the vehicle's traction system. This paper introduces a laboratory model for full power simulation of vehicle's traction system under standard and exceptional load conditions. The description of this model includes the details of its design with respect to power electronics hardware, and control and measurement electronics hardware and software, as well as the supplementation of the laboratory model with a mathematical model.
