Torsional Transient Response Using Z-Transformation
The influence of a clutch location on a torsional forced response of a simple power transmission system consisting of two shafts, a clutch and a load have been studied. The hybrid distributed-lumped modelling technique has been used (DLMT) and a general solution for arbitrary excitation is obtained by the z-transformation method (in the form of recurrent formulae for rotational speeds).
