The Economy of Croatia and the state of Textile and Clothing Produktion

The Republic of Croatia is a small-sized Middle-European country which separated itself from the other republics of the former Yugoslavia and the communist regime. It has paid its freedom in a bloody war. At the beginning of its independence Croatia had to prove to be a democratic state providing equal rights for all its citizens. It was not easy because there were many countries which were not friendly and where the Serbian lobby prevailed using propaganda against Croatia. The predominant task of Croatia is to stop young textile experts from going abroad where there are many textile specialists. It must increase the employment with regard to the total economic situation of the country. The factors affecting the total economic situation are production costs, living expenses and wage amount.
