Evaluability of internet technology in biomedical master theses assessment
Abstract: It is of great importance to have the results of the scientific investigation published in the relevant cited journals, assessable at least through their abstract via electronic search of Internet based data sources, such as MEDLINE and Current Contents. Our effort was to evaluate these resources in searching the data originally published as master degree theses, and secondary as a scientific paper in the biomedical journal. In the ten years period (1990-1999) there was 257 master theses at the Rijeka University School of Medicine, 35 out of them published in 24 biomedical journals, and 20 of them international and four Croatian. 19 journals are indexed in Current Contents. Some other data considering this topic are also reported in the paper.
