Protein Markers of Differentiation in sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L.) and horse-radish (Armoracia lapathfolia Gilib.) tissue culture
Normal, habituated and transformed in vitro tissue lines of sugar beet and horse radish crown gall tumour lines were studied with regard to patterns of cellular and extracellular proteins. The poypeptides of 16 and 17 kDa were found in normal and tumour tissue the one of 37 kDa was tumour specific and the polypeptide of 23 kDa was specific for organsed habituated tissue. In extracellular protein patterns differences were more obvious. Unorganised habituated tissue contained more protein bands of higher molecular weights than the other lines In horse radish polypeptides of about 14, 29, 36 and 66 kDa were specific for the shoot-producing tumour line.
