Frequency of newspaper reading in teachers
The article presents the results of the empirical study conducted in Dalmatia (South Croatia) on a representative of primary (N=368) and secondary school teachers (N=586). In total there were 954 examinees. The frequency of reading daily newspapers and weeklies in both groups (primary and secondary school teachers) has been examined by a scale in three categories: never, occasionally and ofen. The data have been analysed as to some sociodemographic characteristics of the teachers (sex, age, place of living, etc.) as well as to some other variables: satisfaction with the job and salary, standard of living and number of books.
