Eskimo Nebula and Exploding Metal Cloud
Laser-matter interaction under high pressure of the ambient dass (oxygen) of 5-6atm causes detonation of laser plasma. Laser-supported detonation wave follows the Taylor-Sedov relation and generates very trong shock. Radial jetting of the plasma cloud leves the permanent thermal/pressure fingerprint on the target surface which plays a role of a diagnostic plane. Radial organization of the plasma jets reminds on the organoization of radial jets formed in the Eskimo nebula.
