An object recognition experiment by using mapping EEG technology - pilot study
A test for object recognition: animal, tools and facial features, has been developed. The main objective of our experiment was to catch the pattern of brain activity in the course of the tests by using mapping EEG. EEG recording was done by using the Medalec Profile equipment and the cap electrode. We have applied 10-20 International EEG system. The special program and stimulator were designed to catch the stimulus appearance on the screen. As result of experiment three amplitude maps (of unique person, complex geometrical pattern and fire-arm) were presented. Qualitative interpretation of the mapping has been done.
