Television and cultural cooperation in South East Europe

The lecture showed how television can be and is used for cultural cooperation in South East Europe (SEE) using the example of a case study of a co-produced children's television programme that is broadcast in Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, and Serbia and Montenegro, and for a comparison with this show to look briefly at the commercial reality show with the same name, This Is Me, that was broadcast until recently on Macedonian public service broadcaster MKRTV. The common thread for these two entirely different television shows is that both claim that they promote “ Communication and understanding among young people in Balkans” .
