Linear Antenna Model Applied to the Penetration of Electromagnetic Waves
A simple model of the human body presented as a thick cylindrical scatterer placed verticaly on the ground is used for examining the penetration of the electromagnetic wave. The Pocklington integral equation with exact kernel is solved by the boundary element method. It is shown that the wire antenna theory can be successfuly used, in spite of the simplicity of the model.
