Growth parameters of the gilt-head sea bream (Sparus aurata) in the eastern Adriatis (Croatian waters)

The gilt-head sea bream is a long lived species and its growth is very slow in the eastern Adriatic. Its weight grew positively allometric since individuals were caught during spawning season ( September-December). Such investigations are necessary to be continued in order to establish some new biological and ecological parameters such as mortality rates.
