Nonlinear analysis of railway under moving load
This paper describes analysis of a practical problem: displacement of SKL rail fastening assembly under load moving at different speeds. The problem is described through hyperbolic partial differential equation with nonlinear stiffness coefficients and non-conservative loading while mass and damping coefficients do not vary with time. Numerical analysis with a novel integration scheme called Impulse Acceleration Method has been adopted as a solution tool and numerical examples demonstrate the performance of the method.
