Experience with Making a Complete On-line Risk Monitoring Model
This paper presents important steps needed for the creation of an on-line risk monitoring model and the problems associated with those steps. The first step is to convert PSA model to a format suitable for a specific on-line monitoring tool. That step includes both, the model format conversion and the phenomenological preparation. Phenomenological questions can routinely be solved for issues like maintenance, components alignment, but the problem is very complex for a number of issues like initiating events (IE) frequency, common cause failure rates, and human reliability estimate. For the proper usage of an on-line risk monitoring application, it is important to have confidence in the model for each configuration. This paper discusses experience with the above issues.
