Dynamic Alignment at SLS
The dynamic alignment system adopted at the SLS storage ring is presented. The mechanical high accuracy positioning system and the horizontal and vertical monitoring systems are illustrated. The thus obtained beam based girder alignment concept and the results of the performed tests are given. The critical review of the system characteristics and the future developments are finally given.
