14C and 3H indicators of the environmental contamination

Gerneral distribution of 14C and 3H in the global atmosphere was presented. The influence of global 14C and 3H changes in the atmosphere was observed in three locations in Croatia in the areas with minimum anthropogenic infleunce: 14C in three-rings and in lake sediments, and 3H in precipitation in the Plitvice National Park ; 14C anf 3H in the atmosphere at Medvednica Mt ; 3H in ice deposits in the Ledenica Cave, Velebit Mt. Both 14C and 3H followed the global changes in the Northern Hemisphere. The response of environment to the 14C and 3H variations in the atmospheredepends on the complexity of natural processes that involve these isotopes.
