MAXIMUM ENERGY OUTPUT OF GEOPRESSURED GEOTHERMAL RESERVOIRS IN CROATIA
Geopressured geothermal reservoirs in Croatia contain energy of geothermal fluids in the liquid phase in three different forms such are: dissolved gases and minerals at relatively high pressure and relatively low temperatures. Gas must be separated due to optimal utilization and ecological efficiency, which simultaneously maximize the reservoir performance and conversion process as well. Maximum energy output of combined hydraulic-thermal recovery factor is analyzed. The present paper discusses some basic thermodynamic results which determine conversion effectiveness of both hydraulic and thermal energy components according to second law assessments of binary plants.
