Minds in the World
We have learned from the philosophical literature that the mind is embodied (and for sure embrained), but it is also, and above all, enworlded. As there is no world prior to or apart from the mind (at least from an epistemological point of view), it is also difficult to conceive of the mind that would be devoid of the world. Mindless world is logical impossibility, and worldless mind is empirical nonsense. The mind and the world are co-constituted. With affirmation of 'enworldment' a significant step is made away from the black-box conception of mind/brain, signifying that roots of the "mysteries of the mind" are not within the skull, but in the comprehensibility of the world.
