Abrasion Shore Relief of the Island Vir Quarternary Sediments.
Sandy Quarternary sediments of Upper Pleistocene, pretty exposed to the recent process of an intensive abrasion although have being not very similar to the characteristic loess sediments of Susak, Srakane and Unije islands, or being rather similar to the sandy sediments of Privlaka and some sandy zones of Ravni Kotari, shows some certain similarity of the morphological forms with them. The main exogenic forms of the abrasion here are cliffs and abrasion platforms. Recently, fluvial erosion and abrasion have made here a lot of microgeomorphological forms in the postglacial period after the sea level had been raised.
