From our broad investigations the segments presented in this paper shows that the ink based on vegetable oil gives greater dot gain in offset printing in relation to the conventional ink. Closing of the screen at 90% screen value happens when the ink based on vegetable oil is used on all three printing surfaces at almost all screens with alll wetting solutions. On fine art paper there are almost no described problems with the conventional ink, on the offset paper no problems with 80 l/cm and on newsprint paper closing of the scrreen appears at 90% screen valuie with all wetting solutions and all screens.
