Digital Model for Dynamic Simulation of Hydraulic System in Hydro-Electric Power Plant
The hydraulic system for water supply has an essential influence on the stability and reliability of a hydro-electric power plant. This paper presents a non-linear mathematical model of hydraulic system for water supply in a power plant. The model includes headrace tunnel, surge shaft and pressure pipe. The problems are solved by means of a program based on differential equations on desktop computer HP 9845-B. This computer with simulation program can be used as a training simulator and as a very suitable device for design of similar hydraulic systems. Accuracy of the model is proved by comparing with an experimenatal test in a hydro-electric power plant.
