Thermophysiological comfort of knitted fabrics in moderate and hot environment
The importance of the comfort of textile materials has been recognized by textile experts world-wide, as a concern for personal well-being and quality of life becomes more significant. The aim of this paper is to compare the values of heat and water vapour resistance of knitted fabrics in moderate and hot environment and to observe the influence of the yarn and the finishing process to the obtained results. The results have indicated lower values of heat and water vapour resistances in moderate environment for all the fabrics. The fabrics knitted without elastane yarn have rather lower values than those that consist elastane yarn in the structure. After the process of finishing (carried out according to the commercial receipt), all the values decrease.
