Static and Dynamic Testing of the Martinšćica III Bridge near Rijeka

The aim of these testings was to compare experimental and theoretical results, thus we can evaluate hypothesis given in the numerical model, and behaviour of the bridge in general. Static and dynamic analysis were done on PC with two models, both based on FEM. Static load was achieved with 4 heavy trucks. During testing, strains and displacement were measured.The bridge was excited with actual traffic load consisting of one heavy truck.
