The Future of the Antenna Technology in the Communications and Observation Systems

The course was focused on active antennas, with special accent on the integration problems of the active components in the radiator structure. The use of micro-electromechanical elements (usually known as MEMs), and radiofrequency elements (as FET amplifiers or PIN diodes), has been explained to provide reconfigurable antennas. Self-oscillating active antennas is also an attractive theme with a promising future on the technology of the communication and observation system.
