Hierarchies of the Elites: Ragusan Citizens between Power and Exclusion

In the paper the author examines the question of the Ragusan hierarchy of elites (noble elite vs. commoner's elite). The question was raised how the governing body, under the well established idea of social and political consensus, managed to keep the fine balance between power and exclusion of Ragusan citizens.
