Histochemical presentation of some oxidative enzymes in the allantoic epithelium of wild boars
In the allantoic epithelium of 14 2.5-month-old wild boar fetuses some morphologic characteristics and the histochemical activity of a-glycerophosphate, glu-cose-6-phosphate, glutamate, lactate, succinate, 3-hy-droxybutyrate and isocitrate dehydrogenases as well nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate transelectronases (a--GPDH, G-6-PDH, GLDH, LDH, SDH, P-HBDH, ICDH, NADH2 and NADPH2) were investigated. The allantoic epithelial cells are flat, polygonal, of straight or in¬ ; dented borders, with one or occasionally two nuclei. The activity of all investigated enzymes was present in the allantoic epithelial and connective tissue cells but its intensity differed. The activity of a-GPDH, LDH, P-HBDH, ICDH, NADH2 and NADPH2 was pre¬ ; dominantly strong, of G-6-PDH and GLDH medium, and of SDH weak. It was generally stronger in the epithelial than in the connective tissue cells.
