Models of work and efficiency in kinesiological education of younger school age pupils

Under models of work important for efficient kinesiological education we consider methods and methodical organizational work forms. The effects of the directed exercise process depend on the choice of work modality which also includes the choice of the system of exercise process organization. In achieving the aims of the school subject Physical Education (PE), a significant role is given to methodical organizational work forms, i.e. teachers’ readiness to interpret them in the most effective way. The preconditions for the change to more demanding work forms are created by simpler work forms and the important “ links” in the process are group work forms with additional exercises. Correct application of work methods in primary education is shown as meaningful member of optimization. In primary education, advantage is given to the synthetical method of study. The synthetical method of study is considered most natural because a move is learned as a whole. The good thing behind the synthetical method is that it allows individual work. That is especially good when applied in the work with students of lower levels of elementary school, since students at that age usually observe everything as a whole, and their abilities for analytical thinking are very low. Besides that, the program content for students of first to fourth grade of elementary school is comprised of simple structures so their learning and repeating with correcting mistakes is a relief for the nervous system and it accelerates the process of automatisation. By using more demanding methodical organization work forms, better results are achieved. The increase in the substance exchange is caused by additional exercises, which has not only decreased “ waiting in the line“ and increased the effective exercise time, but has also increased the total, as well as the physiological workload during the lesson, ensuring a greater influence on the transformation of anthropological characteristics of the pupils. The need for gradual introduction of more demanding work forms from frontal to group is confirmed. The interpretation of work models, where we include methods of work and methodical organisational forms, is shown as in examples of methods of learning and additional exercises, meaningful factor in the optimalisation of the educational process.
