The Approaches to Women's Education - Comparative pedagogy Perspective
This study deals with various approaches to women's education. The amphasis is on the fact that the most of countries have accepted humanism and equality as a major principle. In spite of this, there is a number of social mechanisms that have discriminative attitude toward women in education as well as in ther participation in social life. The author emphasizes that the process of social change have to be accelerated and that schools and education can be powerful agents of changes. Through promotion of a genuine common education in the whole educational process, we will be able to achieve equity between girls and boys and to prepare them for future and for roles of equal citizens.
