Sensitivity of the method of double-modulation ESR detection of electron spin-lattice relaxation time
recently has been demostrated that double-modulation electron spin resonance (DMESR) can be successfully employed to obtain information on the electron spin-lattice relaxation time from an inhomogeneously broadened ESR line, under the condition that T1 is greater than T2. This potential of the DMESR method was mostly utilized to study molecular motions of spin probes in the slow-motion regime. The reported studies of slow molecular motion in model systems as well as in variuos polymer matrices demonstrated a high sensitivity of the DMESR technique to inter- and intramolecular motion of nitroxide spin probes.
