Numerical Simulation and Experimental method in Structural Change Detection

Simple beam in two states is modeled by FEM to obtain natural frequencies and mode shapes. Added mass in second state, that is actually represented by the mounted accelerometer, is detected successfully. Also, natural frequencies are obtained experimentally from FRF.
