Online Knowledge Assessment in the Context of Bologna Process
Bologna process introduces many novelties into high education process – among others, there are smaller teaching classes, individualization of the teaching efforts and continuous monitoring and evaluation of students' activities. All those novelties must be introduced within environment that is not free of many old problems, such as large number of students, too few teachers and teaching assistants etc. These problems are particularly expressed during continuous monitoring and evaluation of students' activities. ICT used to conduct online knowledge assessment facilitates continuous monitoring and evaluation, and before mentioned problems can be reduced up to the point, but introduction of online knowledge assessment brings in new sorts of issues. In this paper we will propose an implementation of online knowledge assessments within hybrid organization of online course in a way that those assessments can give as realistic as possible representation of students' knowledge.
