Finite-element simulations on punching tests of shear-retrofitted slab-column connections

3D finite element analyis of punching of RC slabs was performed. The concrete was modelled by the microplane model. To calibrate the model, the numerical results were first compeard with the experimental results. Subsequently, the parametric analysis was performed in which the shear reinforcement was varied.
